North Central Region Team Standings
Winners were the team of Pat Grimm and Jack Morse with 17.86 pounds. They caught their fish early on a texas rigged worm, and then later went north up the river and threw a spinner bait around laydowns on shallow flats.
Second place was the team of Mike Zierath and Rickey Morris with 14.89 pounds. Zierath and Morris also had big fish with a 6.77 pound kicker. They caught all their fish on drop shot and 10# test with a morning dawn Robo Worm.
Southeast Region Team Standings
The Team of Collin Bode and Mark Geotzman brought five fish to the scales with a total weight of 18.77 lbs. They had kicker fish that went 5.42 lbs. All their fish came on Gary Yamamoto Senkos. They earned check for $1500.
Second place was Kyle Fontenot and John Fontenot. Their limit came in at 17.50 lbs and included the big fish of the event, a 5.77 lb. kicker. They took home $1000 for the Team and a big bass check of $220. Congratulations!!
Third place was the Team of Sean Stricker and Matt Russell with a five fish stringer that weighed 16.55 lbs. Their big fish weighed 5.20 lbs.
This is Stan. Stan is a Director for the Illinois Bass Nation Youth program and was visiting Texas for a few weeks. He offered to help with the weigh-in and I took him up on his offer. I needed help. Stan exemplifies the Bassmaster Creed and I am proud to have met him and appreciate his help!!
The next Team SE Region tournament will be 4/23/23 on Toledo Bend at San Miguel Marina.

North Central Region Team Standings
Congratulations to the team of Mike Zierath and Rickey Morris who sacked up 24.81 pounds of bass with a 6.93 kicker. They were sight fishing bed fish with tubes.
Second place went to James Seymore and Tony McBride who weighed in 21.08 pounds. They fished shallow cranks, spinner baits and texas rigged soft plastics around the mouths of creeks and pockets.
After all the rain and wind, cleaner water was the key for most teams, however some still caught them in dirty water on chatter baits.
The next Team tournament in the North Central Region will be 4/1/23 on Lake Whitney @ Loafer’s Bend Day Use ramp.
