The Southeast Region Individual Trail held its final regular season event of the 2026 season Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Lake Stillhouse, with registration and weigh-in at Riverbend Park. Because of forecasted winds and limited staging area, the event was designated a trailering tournament. The 41 anglers endured winds that increased throughout the day. Wesley Baxley of The Bass Club took the win with five bass weighing 14.76 pounds, anchored by the tournament’s Big Bass, a 7.67-pounder. Wesley stated that he targeted grass with a drop shot and that the big bass came out of 50 feet of water on a main lake point, but that the wind and the waves made that a difficult pattern to run. By virtue of the win, Wesley also captured the Southeast Region Angler of the Year title. Jacob Bruener of the Nacogdoches Bass Club finished second with five fish weighing 12.63 pounds, Jacob said that he targeted standing timber and laydowns with a Hags Prickly Pear. Dale McQuerry of The Bass Club placed third with four fish weighing in at 10.94 pounds. Dale states that he targeted shallow timber and laydowns on deeper bluff walls with Texas rigged flukes. He said he lost two fish early and didn’t box his first keeper until 12:30PM with a 3:00PM stop time. Colton Rash with The Bass Club earned second Big Bass of the tournament with a 5.51 pounder.
