NE Region Championship Results

Thanks everyone that could make it out to the championship at the Red River on October 3rd & 4th.

We had a great finish to the year with 16 anglers competing and paying out 2 places for each boater and non-boater. It was a close competition after day 1 but the 3 hour weather delay threw a wrench in the plans of many for day 2.

Congrats to James Hervey of Piney Woods Bass Club for taking 1st Place Boater honors with a respectable two day total of 23.16 lbs.

Brannon Long of Red Oak Bass Club – 2nd Place Boater – 18.54 lbs

Dalton Pratt of Red Oak Bass Club – Big Bass Honors – 3.70 lbs

Congrats to Craig Hanna of Red Oak Bass Club for taking 1st Place Non-Boater honors with a respectable two day total of 10.78 lbs.

Alex Callaway of Red Oak Bass Club – 2nd PLace Non-Boater – 9.20 lbs

Albert White of Piney Woods Bass Club – Big Bass Honors – 3.92 lbs

It has been a pleasure serving as tournament director for the last 4 years but I will be resigning after this season. George Bryan will announce a new tournament director once he has selected one.

Great job everyone!

Best Regards,

Fairchild & Wimberley Take Palestine and Team of The Year Title

Posted on Written by

Fronts from the West pushed windy condictins to East Texas Saturday. Lake Palestine saw 20+ winds and made for rough conditions but someone always finds feeding fish!

First place went to the Team of Patrick Fairchild & Wyatt Wimberley with a limit of five fish. Their sack weighed 13.49 lbs. They biggest kicker was in the 3 lb class but not big enough to take big bass honors. With this win Fairchild & Wimberley secured Team of the Year in the NE/SE Region of the Team Division as well. Congratulations to these guys. They won three of the six events this year and have been consistently showing up and showing out for three years. Way to go guys!

Second place went the Team of Chris Glass & Sean Sticker with a five fish limit that weighed 12.87 lbs.

Big bass of the tournament went to Skp Aldriedge with a 5.31 lb fish. Skip & Brad Lamb came down from the North Central Region to fish with us on Palestine. They needed one more tournament to qualify for the State Championship! They are in baby!!

This wraps up the qualifying tournament trail for 2026. The next event will be the Team State Championship September 11-12, 2026 on Cedar Creek hosted by Gun Barrel City. We will have a drive through weigh-in at the city Pavilion.

Thanks to everyone that participated this year and hope to see you in September!!
