2025 Southeast Region Team Standings

The second stop for the season on Team Division Trail was on Toledo Bend. Typical blue bird conditions with overcast skies in the morning and sunny in the afternoon and a brisk 45 degrees and 20 mph winds. One good thing about T-Bend is you can find a cove or creek out of the wind and spend all day there without having to deal with 3 ft rollers on the main lake.

Brian Jones & Rodney Mladenka did just that and brought the winning stringer to the scales. Their five fish weighed in at 17.07 lbs. They were all about the same size in the 3.3 lb range.

Tye Grissom and Mark Grissom came in second with a limit of bass that weighed 15.61 lbs. Their stringer included the big bass of the day with a 5.51 lbs kicker. Congratulations Mark! Mark’s comment was “I had a good guide today!”. When i asked who caught the big on Tye said “What does that matter, its a Team event!”. Sometimes the entry fee is worth the entertainment value! Great to have this father and son team on the trail. These guys are also in the lead for Team of the Year after two events.

2025 South Region Team YTD Standings

Coleto Creek Reservoir – February 08, 2025

The Texas Bass Nation South Region Team Trail took to the unseasonably warm waters at Coleto Creek for the second round of the ’25 season. Despite it being early February, air temps were low 80’s with water temperature near 72. Anglers found fish at all depths, and all stages of the spawn.

Team Mark and Hunter Watson got the job done, bringing a limit to the scales weighing in at 16.95lbs including a anchor largemouth of 5.52lbs! Second place went to team Ron Dupree/Byron McGee who were close behind with 13.44lbs that included the tournament big bass of 7.07 pounds! On the podium in 3rd, team Eric Rabinowitz and Thomas Varner weighed 5 fish for 10.71lbs.

The next stop for the South Region Team Trail is LBJ on March, 15. Registration online at Team Division: South Region There’s still time to qualify to fish the championship!
