As many of you know, BASS Nation has implemented a new Membership Roster Program. It has proven to be difficult to pay BASS Nation (National) Membership Dues in the new system.

In order to fish the upcoming TBN Kayak State Championship an angler must be a member of B.A.S.S. (Parent Organization), BASS Nation (National Organization) and Texas BASS Nation (State Organization).

As a temporary solution, Texas BASS Nation (State) has provided a way for Kayak members to pay for both State and National membership dues on one form. We (The State BOD) will then pay your National dues on your behalf when the new Roster Management system is improved.

It’s official, the Lonestar Kayak organization has elected to come on board with Texas BASS Nation to provide their anglers a path to the Classic!

Lonestar Kayak officials, Tim Beers, Duc Tran and Patrick Malone invited Randy Fleeman, Ron Jones and Brent Stafford to attend the Lonestar Throwdown registration at BLORA on Lake Belton. Randy spoke to the crowd of some 100 kayak anglers and received a loud round of approval when he announced they would now have a path to the BASSMASTER Classic.

The Lonestar Kayak organization will function normally through the year hosting club events and tournaments that promote the sport and comraderies among yakers. The season will be anchored by a Texas BASS Nation Kayak State Championship. The top 10% of the field from the Championship will qualify to move on and fish the same waters as BASASMASTER Classic pros.

The first annual TBN Kayak State Championship is scheduled for December 4 – 5, 2021 on Stillhouse Hollow near Belton, TX. Visit the TBN Kayak State Championship page for details.
