North East Division of Texas BASS Nation Battled 4.3 foot high Stained water on Lake O The Pines. the Water temperature was anywhere from 51 to 54 degrees. 

There were miles of good looking flooded brush with not many fish in them yet.

 I believe it was won above the bridge but you will have to ask Jacob Johnson who weighed in the only Limit at 15.32 lbs. to take first place.

 Behind him was new to Texas BASS Nation From Virginia BASS Nation, Jeff Lugar with four bass weighing 11.37 lbs.

A regular in the pay line with NE Division for third place was Jon Harshbarger with 9.99 lbs. and a Big Bass of 5.41 lbs. Colton Harvick was fourth with 8.92 and Second Big Bass at 4.95 lbs.

The first Tournament of the 2020 fishing season kicked off at Brandy Branch January 26, 2020!  Weather was good for the 21 anglers who had cloudy overcast allday and 60 degree plus water temps.

 We pushed the weigh-in back a half hour to relieve the congestion at the one lane boat ramp.

First place went to Coy Fraizer of Century Bass Club with a nice sack 18.95lbs. Second went to his club mate David Porter 17.47lbs. David also had a beautiful Big Bass that went 6.38lbs both said they caught them on C-rigs but would not give the secret bait that fooled the fish. Third was Colton Harvick of Red oak Bass Club with a respectable sack of 16.94. I asked but he would not divulge what he was doing but I saw him throwing a rattle trap, I hope that helps. Jacob Johnston also Century finished fourth 14.88lbs and no boater Justin Mcclain came in fifth 14.14lbs.

We had 8 new anglers come fish the NE Division this year Thank you guys for coming out!
