2024 Northeast Region Team Standings

3/16/24 Lake O’ The Pines @ Johnson Creek Park

The weather couldn’t have been better for the pre-spawn on Pines! Overcast, 62 degrees, 3-5 mph breeze and calm water. The take off was delayed a few minutes due to the overcast but they fanned out with some going north and some staying south. Almost all teams brought in a limit and one team hit the mother lode! It rained on the weigh-in but we took advantage of the pavilion and stayed dry for the most part.

Some fish were caught shallow and some were caught in 6-10 ft on jerk baits. Of the 17 teams registered in the tourney 16 of them had five fish limits and the seventeenth team had 4 fish. An outstanding day on the water for everyone!!

The winning team of Jimmy Burgess and Brian Porter topped the field with 29.26 lbs but that wasn’t the exciting part. Their kicker fish, caught by Jimmy, was a 10.33 lb monster! AND they had a second fish that was almost that big! WOW!! Check-it out.

Second place honors went to the team of Jordon Osborne and Derek Bartley with a five fish limit that weighed 27.27 lbs. A GREAT sack on any given lake but not enough today on Pines.

Third place went to the team of Zach Fogle and Chris Murray with a five fish limit that went 26.04 lbs and a 6.63 lb kicker. Another awesome sack!

2024 Northwest Region Team YTD Standings

3/9/24: Kennedy Recreation & Marina – OH Ivie

A little overcast and LOT of wind and cold. Steady 25 mph winds had the 38 degree ambient temp felling like 28. It was winter time for a morning in West Texas. And the front had the expected affect on the fishing.

Chris Cobos & Julian Muchaca weighed four fish for a total of 14.40 lbs with a 7.05 lb kicker. They were one of the first to weigh in but their sack held up to take first place and a $1300 pay day.

Cobos & Muchaca got a little nervous when Bauman & Bevly came to the scales with an 8.54 lb g-g-g-giant bass caught by Jordan Bauman! However their sack only had three fish and a total weight of 13.34 lbs. Good enough for second place and a check for $700.

Third place went to the team of Brandon Soliz & Joseph Dean with a four fish 10.11 lb bag. They also took home a check for $300.

Congratulations guys and thanks again for fishing with us!!

The next tournament in the NW Region will be April 6, 2024 on Hubbard Creek at the Hwy 84 Bridge. See you there!!

Post card blue bird day today with 25 mph wind from the South to boot! The Teams did great with eight of the ten weighing fish.

First place honors go to the Team of Lane Haegar and Chris Zins with a five fish bag weighing 19.24 lbs. They also had a nice kicker fish that went 5.68 lbs and did NOT win big bass. They caught em flipping the bushes. Congratulations and a $1000 check for the win.

Second place went to Brian Brown and Robert Anderson who also had a five fish limit. Their total weight was 16.08 lbs.

Big bass honors went to Chad Poulson with a 6.66 lb toad!! Nice fish Chad!
