Sunday, 26 March found 23 anglers at Coleto Creek Reservoir for the third stop on the TBN South Region Individual Trail. Mostly cloudy skies kept the temp in the low 80’s, and had the bass on the roam making for a tough day sorting through shorties in search of keepers.
At the end of the day it was Trevor Rogge with five solid fish for 15.09lbs atop of the podium. In second place, also with a limit anchored by a 4.08 pounder, Trey Gulley brought in 12.07lbs. A regular on the South Region podium, Ryan Watkins finished third with 5 fish for 10.57lbs. Mark Lachenauer brought in the big bass of the day, a solid 5.69 pounder. See full results and standings.
Sunday, 23 April will bring the trail back to Choke Canyon, look forward to seeing you there.

Grimm & Morse Take NC Team Qualifier on Whitney

North Central Region Team Standings

Winners were the team of Pat Grimm and Jack Morse with 17.86 pounds. They caught their fish early on a texas rigged worm, and then later went north up the river and threw a spinner bait around laydowns on shallow flats.

Second place was the team of Mike Zierath and Rickey Morris with 14.89 pounds. Zierath and Morris also had big fish with a 6.77 pound kicker. They caught all their fish on drop shot and 10# test with a morning dawn Robo Worm.

Northwest Region Fishes Possum Kingdom

The Northwest Region of the Texas B.A.S.S. Nation Club Division held its second regional event of the year on Possum Kingdom Lake, March 18, 2023. Tournament day started out near 30 degrees with a stiff north wind blowing most of the day. Despite the cool weather, most anglers brought fish to the scales.

Montana Hand, from the Tarrant Christian Bass Club, took 1st place with a heavy 5-fish limit weighing 23.67 lbs.

Jacob Sepeda, with Callahan County Bass Club, took 2nd place with 16.91 lbs.

Rounding out the top three was Eric Seaton, also from Callahan County, with a weight of 15.62 lbs for 3rd place. Big Bass of the tournament also went to Eric Seaton with a nice PK largemouth weighing 6.94 lbs.

Most of the fish were caught in shallow water on crawfish colored crankbaits and soft plastics.
