O.H. Ivie Tournament

Justin Brucker takes the win on O.H. Ivie!! O.H. Ivie was tough for many, but the few that found them did great! Justin Brucker won 1st place with a 84.5″ netting him $1514. Phillip Wyatt got 2nd with 83.75″ netting him $801. Cristian Astorga came in 3rd with 79″ taking home $500. Daniel Merritt got 4th place with 77.25″ taking home $321. Jody Morris came in 5th with 76″ taking home $162. David Gurley got 6th with 74″ taking home $85. Eddie Morris got Big Bass with a 21.75″ biggun netting him $520!! Congrats all the angler’s taking home some $$$.

Bryan Howell Wins at Lake Fork

Texas BassNation on Lake Fork is in the books!!! Lake Fork was a feast for famine lake as usual this past weekend. While not very many caught limits, the ones that did, caught some really good fish. Huge congrats to the winners!

-Bryan Howell taking home 1st 106.75″ and big bass with a chunky 24.5″ studd, fetching him $2379 ($4345 total for both events).

-Erick Simien getting 2nd place with 97.5″ taking home $826 (1440 for both events).

-Jody Morris getting 3rd place with 94.75″ taking home $635.

-Ote Shaw getting 4th place with 88.25″ taking home $466.

-David Gurley getting 5rd place with 88″ taking home $438 ($756 for both events).

-Chance Vanvinkle getting 6th place with 87.5″ taking home $233 ($496 for both).

-Matthew Scotch getting 7th place with 87.25″ taking home $175 ($323 for both events).

-Larry Hill getting 8th place with 85.75″ taking home $122 ($207 for both events).

Kayak Series – Brownwood

Lake Brownwood showed out as a hidden gem that housed some enormous fish. 65 angler’s showed up to see what this awesome lake had in store for them on a beautiful Sunday. The day started off with a flurry of giant bass submissions that shocked the leaderboard for the whole day. Larry Hill, had a nice 23.5, Mike Mashl had a giant 25.5, and they both got topped off by Jose Rodriguez with his 26+” monster that exceeded his 26″ board(easily 12lb fish). Jimmy Potter was sitting in 1st most of the day with 95.75″. But with an hour left to lines out Jake Maenius made some huge moves and landed 2 solid fish (one of them being 24.5″) giving him the lead with 97.25″. Huge congrats to all the winners, and thanks to Jody Morris and West Texas Kayak Fishing for helping run this event. And a huge thanks to Russel Potter for all the help with scoring. Well see everyone at the next event at Toledo Bend on June 22nd with the crew from ETX Paddlesports Tournaments and Events!
