The North Central Region had its first tournament weekend of the season on Lake Travis and Lake Belton, the numbers were low but the ones that came out got things done. For the tournament great support from the board members, but hats off to the anglers that came out.
Leading the way both days was Byron Albricht 16.43 on Travis followed by Benny Love 2.48 and on day two on Belton Byron Albricht with 12.49 followed by Randy Fleeman with 11.83.
We also so had some kids come and help with the weigh in, 13/14 of April is our next event starting day one on Granbury and day two on Whitney so please come and join for some great fun and competition. 
The North West Region of the Texas BASS Nation held its 2nd qualifier of the year on Possum Kingdom March 9th. A passing front brought early morning rain and a strong west wind that blew 20-30 mph most of the morning.
Cole Slaughter rounded out the top 3 finishing in 3rd place with 19.83 pounds. All of the top three anglers were from the Callahan County Bass Club. Alabama rigs and crankbaits seem to be the hot baits.
