Two teams from the High School event and two teams from the Junior event will go to nationals. The 2nd place HS team had already qualified so the 3rd place team will go.
Cen-Tex Hosts Open Team Tournament June 23rd
Cen-Tex Bass Hunters is hosting an open team tournament on Stillhouse Hollow, Sunday June 23, 2019. Entry fee is $100 per team which includes $10 for big bass. An 80% payout will pay 1 place per 10 teams. Tournament check-in at Island View Pavilion starts at 5:00 am. Weigh-in will be at 3:00 pm.
This will be a good chance to pre-fish for some of the Region championships coming up. Or, just have a good day on the lake with family or a friend.
NE Region Update
Northeast Region Fisherman,
Lake Limestone May 19, I would call it Lake Mudstone after rain all last week and 4.5 inches on Saturday you could say the water was the color of Yoohoo chocolate milk. The lake dropped 8 inches during the Tournament because the Corps had the gates open. We love fishing in tough condition In our NE Region 🙁!
We had 15 players withChad Petrie of Century Bass Club taking home the win with 12.56 lbs, 2nd place went toDale Jackson who had some trouble culling and only brought in 4 fish going 11.79 lbs, 3rd place Thomas Ferro of the South East region had 10.18 lbs.
Big Bass of the tournament was caught by Jose’ Ramos4.12 lb who squeezed out 3.92 lb bass by Cecil Tub who also finished 4th in the mud fest!
Attached are the final Standings.
Chad Petrie of Century Bass Club with the Win beat out Jose’ Ramos of Denton Count Bass Club by 3 points for Angler of the Year (AOY) and Jon Harshabarger of Century was only 1 point behind Jose’.

September 28-29 at Richland Chambers
