The fourth Texas Bass Nation West Region Trail tournament will be held April 28th on Hubbard Creek Reservoir. Headquarters will be at the Ridge Motel in Breckenridge (see below). Tournament morning launch and weigh in will be at the Hwy 180 bridge ramp (West end of bridge from Breckenridge). Off limits is from sundown Sunday, April 22 till sunrise Friday, April 27th.  Registration and a short meeting will be held Friday, April 27th, 6:30 pm, at Ernie’s Spanish Kitchen. If you can’t make Ernie’s, come by room #124 or you can also register at the ramp between 6:00 am – 6:45 am Saturday morning. Call Kelley Hudson at 940-550-5638 if you have any questions. Lake Brownwood produced some nice stringers this past weekend despite strong winds. It was the third Trail stop for the West Region in 2018. Finishing in the top spot was Shawn Taylor with 24.25 lbs.  Shawn also claimed the Big Bass honors with an 8.30. In second place was Wendell Ramsey weighing 21.55 lbs. Third place went to Logan McDonald with 19.30 lbs.  followed by Troy Bryant’s 17.57 lbs. fourth place finish. Rounding out the fifth and final spot was Mark Fenter with 17.20 lbs.  Anglers reported catching a majority of there Bass either flipping brush or throwing spinner baits in 2 – 6ft of water. Congrats to all the winners and we will see you on Hubbard Creek Reservoir, April 28th.
