South Region Club Championship Results
Seven boaters and six non-boaters squared off in the 2023 Texas Bass Nation Individual Trail Championship on Lake LBJ, Friday the 29th and Saturday the 30th of September. Mostly clear weather prevailed with light breezes and temps in the 90s.
Day one finished with Michael Hargraves leading the boaters with 13.49, Trevor Rogge less than a pound back in second with 12.81, and Ricky Bishop in 3rd with 10.13. On the non-boater side, Troy Hargroder led day one with 7.71 followed by Glenn Hahn with 6.58 , and Cliff Martinez trailing the leader by over 2 pounds with 5.66
Day two n the boater side, Trevor Rogge put together another solid stringer of nearly 12 pounds for a 24.71 total and the win. Matt Barnes had four fish for 10.45 and a two day total of 20.32 landing him in second place overall. Third place went to Michael Hargraves with 17.53. Ira Lynn was the big bass winner on the boater side with a solid 6.80 largemouth. For the non-boaters, Cliff Martinez day two stringer of 8.66 brought his two day total to 14.32 and secured the win. Second place non-boater went to Glenn Hahn with a total of 13.84 pounds, and Ken Scarborough was close behind in third and had the non-boater big bass of 4.70.
