Our Championship is behind us and I hope you enjoyed it as much I did.
Jeff Lugar of Century Bass Club won the boater side with a come from behind victory and a total of 29.51 pounds. Jeff had to make up a 6.14 pound deficit after Randy Kvapil of Century Bass Club put together an impressive 22.53lb. sack with 7.22 pound beauty that was also big bass on the boater side. Randy stumbled on the second day and only found 3 keeper fish that was 6.30 pounds for a total 28.83 pounds. Jeff closed the door on day two by bringing in a Limit that was 13.12 pounds and first day catch of 16.39 pounds totaled 29.51pounds beating Randy by .58 of a pound! Very close victory for Jeff!
Colton Harvick of Red Oak Bass Club was 3rd with 23.41 lbs and Keith Glasby was 4th with 17.46 lbs.
Non boater side Had Cecil Tubb of NE Texas Anglers came in with two limits that went 16.92 pounds to Win, while Mike Cassanova of Century Bass Club did have two limits that was 15.90 pounds 1.02 pound deficit came in second. Duane Crenshaw from Denton county was the third place non boater angler and big bass monster 8.20 pounds his total was 13.59 lbs. Richie Slack from Century Bass Club was fourth with 11.46 lbs.
