Texas B.A.S.S. Nation

Bassmasters’ Creed: I promise to create among my fellow anglers, and the public in general, an awareness of my Chapter’s and Society’s contributions to angling, conservation and outdoor recreation. I will encourage and instruct the youth of my community in the art of bass fishing. I pledge myself to full adherence to all conservation codes and to detect and report any polluter of our nation’s waters.

Non-Chapter (At Large) Registration Process

B.A.S.S. now allows “at-large” B.A.S.S. Nation membership. If you choose this option and do not join or start an affiliated chapter (club), you will still receive all benefits of membership except the right to compete in State B.A.S.S. Nation qualifying tournaments (Championship). If after becoming an at-large member, you decide to join an affiliated chapter to qualify to fish in state B.A.S.S. Nation qualifying tournaments (Championship), contact your Region Director and he will assist you in finding or starting a chapter (club).  Members of the “At Large” club must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a member of B.A.S.S. (Parent Organization) in good standing.   Join B.A.S.S.   or  Renew B.A.S.S. Membership
  • Be a member of B.A.S.S. Nation (National Organization) in good standing. (See step 3 below)
  • Be a member of Texas B.A.S.S. Nation (State Organization) in good standing. (See step 3 below)

(“in good standing” refers to membership dues being current.)

B.A.S.S. Nation (National Organization) club re-affiliation for the following year begins on September 1st and ends on December 31st.
Texas B.A.S.S. Nation (State Organization) club re-affiliation for the following year begins on September 1st and ends on January 31st of the following year.

The following steps outline what each Texas B.A.S.S. Nation (TBN) At Large member should do to register and compete in Region trail events for the upcoming year.

  1. Download the At Large registration form.
  2. Complete the form, save it and print two copies.
  3. Send one copy of the completed form and a check in the amount of $85.00 to the address on the form. Your National dues ($30.00) will be paid on your behalf by TBN staff.  The remaining $55.00 are your Texas BASS Nation At Large membership dues.
  4. Take a copy of the completed form and a copy of the check to your first tournament.  The Region Director will need confirmation that you are registered as an At Large member to fish the Region tournament trail.
